National Account Manager – Mobile, Home based

Terberg DTS UK is looking for a National Accounts Manager to join our growing team to build and maintain strong relationships with key account customers whilst maintaining and looking for further opportunities for growth in rental and sales.
Location: Mobile, Home based

What is the job role?

To build and maintain strong relationships with designated key account customers. To maintain and look for further opportunities for growth in rental and sales. To facilitate communication with key decision makers and build long term relationships to achieve business goals. To identify and put plans in place to remove and replace competitors vehicles with the aim of achieving 100% supply. To introduce other portfolio products and the promotion of aftersales (service and parts) is also key to existing customers. Work in conjunction with existing national account managers to gain an understanding of other key customer’s contacts, pricing structure etc to provide cover and build resilience and business continuity if and when required.  

Requirements and what we are looking for

  • Develop and maintain relationships to ensure long term continued success.
  • Network with key customer contacts to identify opportunities and keep up with customer needs.
  • Ensure customers are up to date with latest technologies and innovations.
  • Prepare customer quotations, hire requests and order confirmations and associated documentation & negotiate agreements and contracts.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction are maintained.
  • Ensure brand consistency.
  • Provide regular updates on market news and competitor information.
  • Upload quotes, activity etc on to the company CRM system on a regular basis.
  • Assist parts & service with potential business opportunities.
  • Provide high quality, accurate and in-depth knowledge of where the competition is operating.
  • Put plans in place to achieve 100% supply where competition exists.
  • Provide activity reports as requested.
  • Ensure that all administration is completed on time, accurately and in line with set processes and procedures.
  • Be responsible for managing your own time efficiently.
  • To work with all departments, particularly with projects that are being explored or implemented.
  • Undertake any other duties consistent with the purpose of this job or to support the needs of the business.
  • Ability to communicate at a senior level including in person, phone, email and teams.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to nurture strategic long term relationships.
  • Ability to have a strategic perspective to orchestrate long term plans.
  • Proved negotiation skills with the ability to push back where necessary.
  • Ability to demonstrate value of the product and service provided as well as financial offering.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of the customer to enable tailored offering to meet customer needs.
  • Project management skills.
  • The ability to efficiently plan with good time management.
  • High attention to detail & analytical mind set.
  • Self-motivational with the ability to challenge the status quo, and research and offer suggestions for improving efficiency or customer experience
