Contracts Administrator

Location: Elland, Halifax

Terberg DTS UK is looking for a Contracts Administrator to join our growing team and build resilience within our Contracts team in Elland.

What is the job role?

To provide administration support for the Contracts Team. To be responsible for keeping accurate vehicle/equipment records, stock control and Terberg vehicles taxing (POL) including company vehicles. To support with invoicing, chasing of PO’s and resolving queries where necessary. Provide annual leave support to Contracts Team. To provide excellent customer service and build relationships with both internal and external customers.

Requirements and what we are looking for

  • To provide support to key internal customers: Contracts Controllers, Area Sales Managers, Senior Contracts Controller.
  • Build effective working relationships with key internal and external customers to understand current and future needs.
  • To be responsible carrying out weekly stock-check, update and circulate stock-sheet report.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports based on stock-check levels and shipments of new vehicles.
  • To ensure all vehicles & contract administration is accurately created and stored in line with set processes and procedures including: NOVA and road registration process for used vehicles, Taxing / SORNing, Vehicle tax renewals and recharge where necessary.
  • Ensure customer enquiries (phone/emails) are professionally and proactively managed, and/or escalated to wider teams.
  • Proactively engage with wider internal departments for collaborative working.
  • To undertake projects as and when required, to support the need of the business or to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Excellent customer service skills with an ethos for getting it right the first time.
  • Excellent organisation and prioritising skills in order to successfully manage multiple tasks.
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines, under pressure and with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong administrative background.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, especially Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
